SEPTEMBER 16,17,18, 2011

Begun over 28 years ago, the Nativity Festival of the Arts is a juried fine art exhibition and sale.  The entire church building is decorated as an art gallery, with a display of creative art by over 60 local artists.  All pieces are for sale, and can be picked up at the close of the exhibition.

OPENING GALA

Spotlighting the artists, the exhibition opens with a formal gala, featuring harp music, wine and a variety of hors d'oevres.  Meet and mingle with the artists and view the exhibition - Scheduled the Friday evening of the Festival weekend.

We Are All Art Ambassadors

Whether you are exhibiting pieces, socializing or a benefactor, this is a special weekend of art enrichment.  The evolution and rapid change of new art ideas is exciting to be a part of.  This Festival of the Arts is so fortunate to showcase new artistic expression.  As you stroll the gallery please enjoy the new creativity and envision how each respective piece would look in a home, public or commercial setting.

We can actually say this is a living history walk at the Festival of the Arts.  All of the inventive efforts and new initiatives are energizing.  The liturgical art is presented softly and the vision of the artist is part of the contemplative journey.   Also, take a moment to stroll outdoors to see the unique garden labyrinth.

“Press on,” I say to the artists.  Whatever your presentation medium here at the Festival of the Arts, you are an art ambassador and the showcasing of your art is education.    Your persistence of innovative resourceful will eventually result with the comment, “I wouldn’t mind owning that.”
